Some of our past events
After Hours, Valentines and the Greensboro Symphony
The Kiwanis Valentine's Party held at the Marriott on Valentine's Day had a very festive atmosphere for all who attended. In all seventy members and guests turned out for hors d'oeuvres and conversation. It was a great way for all to get to know one another better. The party atmosphere included table decorations and a beautiful food display which everyone enjoyed. After the party many of us attended the Greensboro Symphony Pops Concert at Westover Church where we heard absolutely beautiful music.

Our Carolinas District Governor visits the region on November 11 at High Point Country Club. Several of us have signed up to welcome him to the Triad (although he lives just down the road in Salisbury). Alan Atwell has agreed to lead the group in song.
Also this month, Bill Britt, chair of the Holiday Parade committee will begin organizing us to march in Greensboro Jaycee Holiday Parade held on Saturday, December 4, 2010.
Lots going on, and that is great! Art
